   Hi Lowrie –

   25 years I lived in Anchorage, and never did I know we had Streptopus! I was so plant-blind back then! 🙂

   These are awesome! I wish the label on the Iris hadn’t been transparant, but I could read it, so it’s ok! The labels are complete, though the locality is a little vague; Anchorage is a big city, with several neighborhoods. If you could have provided a little more detail – say, Mosquito Lake near UAA campus, Anchorage, Alaska – that would have made me very happy!

   That said, these vouchers are very nicely done. The plants are nicely prepped, I love the presentation of each specimen, and your labels are correct.

      Thank you for your feedback Steph! That’s funny you didn’t know about watermelon berries! They were one of the first berries I sought out after reading the Verna Pratt book because I’d never heard of such a concept!

      I went back and forth on the iris labeling, i thought the white text might show up better, but I guess i was wrong! So i’ll stick to white background next time!

      And good to know about being more specific. I always find very specific place labeling to be a bit weird, since we can use geotagging on online pictures now, I think of “old school” pressings as more formal/general, so that’s why I made that decision. Thank you for the correction!
