Here is my dichotomous key assignment

  1. Plant has needles and cones … Plant 1
  2. Plant does not have needles and has flowers
    1. Has small yellow flowers … Plant 4
    2. Has large flowers with 5 petals
      1. White flowers … Plant 2
      2. Purple flowers … Plant 3

The format was a little strange with the bullets, hope you can follow!

    The bullets are just fine and easy to follow. 🙂 My only suggestion would be for 2. that it may be more concise to say “plant has flowers”. It may be redundant to say it doesn’t have needles when 1. covers that prior.
